Its construction began in 1895. The early Byzantine style was chosen for purely economic reasons. It has the largest central nave in Britain and its bell tower is 100 meters high.

Every day from 7:00 to 19:45. Saturdays from 8am to 7pm Sundays from 7am to 7:45 pm. During services, access is restricted.
In the central nave, Istanbul marble was purchased to make the columns. The mosaics of the chapels of the Holy Sacramento and St. Mary have beautiful mosaics. The most curious thing is that on the main altar there is an image of Joan of Arc.
