Sagres is a Portuguese parish Famous for the nautical school that the Infante D. Henrique installed there in century XV.
Currently, Sagres is one of the most well known areas of Portugal for water sports, such as surfing or bodyboarding.
The small village of Sagres is surrounded by wonderful and often deserted beaches, although the sea here is colder and more dangerous than on the south Algarve coast.
The village of Sagres also has to offer you excellent regional cuisine where fresh fish stands out.
