Park with amphitheater, where annually, in summer, the Viña del Mar International Song Festival takes place
Although few are aware of the surroundings, the amphitheater where the popular song festival is held every year is located in one of the spaces of greatest heritage value in Viña del Mar. The Quinta Vergara Park, with its gardens of varied plant species, and its Venetian palace from the beginning of the century, houses a museum, a school of fine arts and the history of the family of the founder of the city.

By bus:
From the San Borja Terminal in Santiago located at San Borja Nº 235, in the Central Station Metro. Their telephone number is (56) (2) 776 7079. In addition to the Central Station Bus Terminal located at Alameda Nº 3850, Metro Universidad de Santiago. Her phone number is (56) (2) 376 1750.
By car:
One of the options to get to Viña del Mar is through Route 68, you enter Valparaíso and follow the correct signs to get to Viña. The Viña - Valparaíso Highway is 5.5 km long and begins in Caleta Abarca.
There is also a direct route to Viña del Mar from Route 68 towards Variante Agua Santa or Route 66, to travel a beautiful path with views of the Bay of Valparaíso and the beaches of Viña del Mar.
In the gardens of the Park there are some sculptural works, among which the bust of Gabriela Mistral stands out, made and donated by the artist Nina Anguita on the occasion of the Nobel Prize obtained by the poet in 1945. At its base there is a poem by Pablo Meadow.
