Punta Dungeness is a spit of land located in the extreme south of America, you can see the south-eastern Patagonian border with Argentina.

Characterized by the Dúngenes Lighthouse, Puntaenes, Punta Dúngenes is the southernmost attraction in eastern continental Chile.

In addition to being the location in charge of controlling the vessels that enter the country, it wonderfully combines panoramic landscapes and national history, keeping intact the vestiges of the first lighthouse installed in the area to meet the same objectives.



Located 120 kilometers southwest of Punta Delgada and 272 kilometers northwest of Punta Arenas.

By plane

There are daily frequencies from the Santiago de Chile airport in 3 and a half hours of flight, and from Puerto Montt that you should consult.



By car

To get there by car, you must continue from Santiago de Chile on Route 5 South to Osorno where you must cross the Cardenal Samoré Border Crossing to the Argentine Republic, which will take you to the Patagonian sector. Take the Chilean road back through Puerto Natales.

In addition to the flora and fauna of this wild place. During the access road to the lighthouse you can visit different places. On the international route 255, you can visit the Historic Monument, the San Gregorio cattle farm and the Amadeo steam ship, stranded on the coast of the Strait.
