The history of the Bridge begins with the Camino del Inca and its legends. its fame is due, above all, to its thermal baths. It is assumed that it was known and frequented to take advantage of its waters with healing properties. There are abandoned buildings on the side and under the bridge, with small pools where the thermal water flows, which comes from natural slopes, with a temperature ranging from 34º to 38º. Baths were recommended for nerve, rheumatic, and gynecological conditions. They were also therapeutic for anemic and rickety children, and for arthritis.
The region is also conducive to adventure tourism, international walking, horseback riding, skiing and snow sports.
