The Perfume Museum is a German museum located in the city of Cologne.

It is located in the historic Casa Farina, located on the old Roman street Obenmarspforten, opposite the Wallraf-Richartz Museum and the city hall. It is precisely here, where cologne (eau de cologne) was formerly manufactured. This building on Obenmarspforten Street has its headquarters since 1723 the perfume factory "Johann Maria Farina gegenüber dem Jülichs-Platz" created in 1709 and which is today the oldest perfume factory in the world.

On the different floors of the museum are shown the production methods of Eau de Cologne since its beginnings, some of the tools used by Farina to intensify the manufacture of perfume, such as apparatus for distillation, are also exposed. In the museum you can still see photos and documents regarding the production of perfume throughout history, as well as the fakes and plagiarism they made to try to emulate the success of the eau de cologne, before there is a trademark right. In addition, the different packaging in which the sale of Eau de Cologne has taken place has been exposed over the years. On November 25, 2006, when the 240th anniversary of Johann Maria Farina's death was celebrated, Casa Farina was distinguished as "Ausgewählter Ort" ("Selected place") in the project of the President of the Federal Republic "Deutschland - Land der Ideen" („Germany - Country of ideas“).
