Oyado Uchiyama
Guests at Oyado Uchiyama can rent out an entire Japanese-style cottage with private indoor/open-air hot-spring baths. Free wired internet access and a flat-screen TV with a DVD player are included in each. Izu Kogen Train Station is a 15-minute drive away.
The 2-storey air-conditioned cottages come with a living room with tatami (woven-straw) floors, a fridge and an electric kettle with green tea bags. The bedroom features Japanese futon bedding on hardwood floors and the en suite bathroom comes with a hairdryer. Guests can wear the Japanese Yukata robes after refreshing in the indoor or open-air hot-spring baths, which are featured in each individual cottage.
Relaxing massages can be requested for an extra cost. Luggage storage and photocopying services are offered at the front desk.
Traditional multi-course meals are served for dinner and a Japanese set-menu for breakfast. Meals are served at the dining room or at the guests’ rooms with a personal Nakai-san attendant service.
Uchiyama Oyado is a 15-minute walk from Izu Shaboten Park and a 10-minute walk from the Mount Omuro Lift Stop. Jyogasaki Beach is a 15-minute drive away.
