Undoubtedly, one of the places that were kept over time in its architecture and surroundings was the center of Greater Santiago.
The Huérfanos Pedestrian Walk and its surroundings have seen the passage of time, been renovated, but preserve the style of its beginnings, tall and gray buildings that still house hundreds of offices.
The big change was seen at ground level. Old buildings retained their shape and even color, except on the first floors that gave way to modernity, setting aside traditional businesses for those of greater modernity and luxury.
Today there is a large concentration of shoe stores and an excellent range of cinemas. During a tour of the place, you can hear beautiful melodies from singers and songwriters who stop at the corners. At the same time, several theater groups are presented.
