Created when the city turned 400 years old, next to the Damas River, it has a large number of native species such as araucaria, oaks, lengas and olivillos. Various activities are carried out in it, one of the most relevant being the best folkloric festival in southern Chile "Festival Campesino" that takes place in the month of January. Today the park has a large area, has various spaces, an amphitheater, and also has walks and trails near the river among a refreshing and abundant vegetation.



It is located on Calle Bulnes on the banks of the Damas River.

From the north and south, Osorno can be reached by Route 5 South or the Pan-American Highway.



By bus

Daily departures to Osorno from Santiago at the Santiago Rodoviario Terminal and Alameda Terminal.



By train

Daily departures at 8:30 p.m. from Alameda Station, located at Avenida Libertador Bernardo O'Higgins 3170, in Santiago de Chile.



A short distance away is the so-called ´´Villa Olímpica´´, a modern infrastructure that fosters sports and recreation for the inhabitants of the city.
