Kirchheim unter Teck is a market and aviation town with timber-framed buildings, and is the central point of the region surrounding the Teck Castle.
Of particular interest are the annual events such as the "Haft- ond Hokafescht“ festival including cycle races, the "Goldene Oktobertage", the Gallusmarkt market, art and cultural events at the castle, and a vintage aircraft event which takes place every 2 years.

The hotel ensemble presents a symbiosis of architectural styles from 3 different centuries, and juxtaposes the past with the present and the future. The Iraqi-British architect Zaha M. Hadid created the concept of an avante-garde habitable sculpture which would combine the current hotel with the 320-year-old former town hall and the tavern with its adjacent farm house.
