The Alto Rabagão dam, built in 1964 is one of the largest in Portugal, it is a lake artificially formed by the river of the same name, Barragão. It bathes the northern slope of the Serra do Barroso and is visible from the surroundings of the county seat.
Activities such as unrestricted Motor boat, unrestricted boat, unrestricted competition, unrestricted swimming, unrestricted fishing, unrestricted surfing are available.
