There is a merry-go-round inside the plaza commonly called ´´Calesita de la Plaza Almagro´´ in operation in the square since 1979, although the carousel was built in 1962 and operated until the transfer to Plaza Almagro on the corner of West Lima and Pavón Avenue.
The square is limited by the streets Sarmiento, Juan Domingo Perón, Jerónimo Salguero and Bulnes. It is the only public square in the Almagro neighborhood.
