The show begins from the ascent of the diver, through the natural crevices of the cliff, until reaching the highest point, where his sanctuary is located; After their ritual, they go to a small platform at a height of 35 meters, in which the diver must calculate the movement of the waves, the tide and the wind, choosing the right moment to jump into the void; the diver makes contact with the water in a time of 3 seconds at a great speed. This moment of the show is one of indescribable emotion. This show can be witnessed in the afternoon, taking advantage of the sunset, and at dusk, with special lighting, where divers dive one or three at a time, with torches, to give it greater enhancement. Exhibits take place at 1:00, 7:30, 8:30, 9:30, and 10:30 p.m.



The intervention of Mr. Teddy Stauffer as a promoter of attractions for tourists in this port, managed to turn this activity into an international show. As an event, the World High Diving Championship, which is held in ´´La Quebrada´´ every year, attracts more and more daring divers from different countries.





´´LA QUEBRADA´´ is one of the most important tourist attractions, located in the classic area, a few steps from the city center.
