The Horse & Groom is set in a 16th century Cotswold-stone coaching inn is surrounded by a tree-sheltered lawn and stands in its own paddock. There are 5 stylish, spacious and beautifully appointed en suite rooms, each one with a generous, airy bathroom with totally modern facilities, including roll-top baths.
Guests receive a complementary Continental breakfast, with fresh fruit and fresh orange juice. At weekends a cooked breakfast is available for a surcharge.
High-quality food is available 7 days a week and the inn’s impressive restaurant offers a mix of contemporary and traditional English cuisine, as well as great pub food.

Set in the beautiful Wiltshire countryside, on the edge of the glorious Cotswolds, The Horse & Groom only minutes away from junction 17 of the M4. The Roman towns of Bath and Cirecester are just half an hour away by car and boast numerous attractions, whereas Westonbirt and Abbey House Gardens are only a few minutes' drive. The careful and sensitive refurbishment has ensured that none of the charm or country inn feel has been compromised. You will still find the original fireplace and a wonderful flagstone floor in the much-loved Charlton Bar, whilst the dining room has a fabulous wooden floor, strewn with rugs, and adorned with solid oak tables and chairs.
