The Waldhaus Langenbrahm provides elegant, individually furnished rooms with free WiFi in peaceful surroundings. The exclusive wood details were specially created by the designers of Dresden’s Semper Opera House.
The nearby A52 motorway and Alfredusbad Underground Station provide fast links to the Essen and Düsseldorf exhibition centres and airports.
From here, you can drive to the Aalto Theatre, Folkwang Museum, Villa Hügel, the Grugapark park, and Beldeneysee lake within 10 minutes. Our hotel lies in the midst of a forested area in Essen's green south. Shopping streets and malls can be found in the immediate vicinity. A golf course and tennis courts can be found just a few minutes away, while a jogging path begins right outside the hotel. The exhibition grounds, the Aalto-Theater, the Folkwang-Museum, the Villa Hügel, the Gruga ("Ruhr Area Gardening Exhibition") and the lake Baldeneysee can all be reached by car in 5-10 minutes. Built in 1910, the Waldhaus Langenbrahm used to be the residence of the coal mine director. In 1993, the villa was completely renovated and adapted to the requirements of the contemporary hotel business. All original dormer windows and bay shapes were carefully preserved. A modern annexe was constructed and linked to the original building.
