In 27 hectares of grounds, Casa do Redondo is an 18th-century mansion house with an outdoor pool, sports facilities and a sauna. Set in Rabaçal in the Coa Valley, it has rustic rooms with antique furniture.
Featuring a private patio, each spacious room overlooks the pool or garden. All include a TV and private bathroom with free toiletries. Some have exposed stone walls and wrought-iron beds.
Breakfast is served and there is a bar. A few cafés and restaurants are within a 15-minute walk.
A hot tub, tennis court, and games room with billiards are available. Free bicycles are provided to explore the grounds, which house a chapel and barn. Wi-Fi is free in public areas.
Redondo Casa is less than 15 minutes’ drive from historic Marialva village and medieval Trancoso. The UNESCO World Heritage-listed Foz Coa rock engravings are 30 minutes by car and the Douro River is 10 minutes further. On-site parking is free.
